Thanks for your interest Heat but DHR is closed right now. We have more then enough active members to field "1" team, we have a few members that SSP lets play on their CAL team as regular members. When next season starts ( in a month or two) and we have looked at various other leagues outside of and including CAL , we will likely open up DHR for a FEW more people. This will give DHR a versatile roster of about 12 folks that will likely be on at least 2 teams each in 2 leagues. DHR has a strict policy for recruitment. Here it is.

a) Must be constantly active on the war is hell server. Must be active in 5 man league play. If you know nothing about 5 man league play, but have a strong desire to learn it, that is acceptable. We dont just wear the tag for the "cool" look.
b) Must be a good "online" friend of the DHR members. You wont find a member of DHR who has a dispute with another member. This is hard to explain but I'll try. DHR members know and respect and play well together as a team. There is an instinct that kicks in that we seem to have a sixth sense of what the others are doing around us. Thats kind of a vague and muddy explanantion, sorry. ( others can add to that if they want)
c) DHR has to agree that you'd be someone they'd want to work with as a whole (thats a unanimous vote from all ten members right now). Long time members of the "war is hell" community are the only ones ever considered for recruitment.
d) As a DHR member you're a "representative" of DHR. DHR members DO NOT create trouble for the server admins here. When admins see ten DHR members on the server, they know thats ten less problems they have to worry about. Saber whining non-stop is about the most DHR can get away with, and even then, its because he is the only guy on the server who has a free pass to do that.

So, Heat if you or anyone else would like those two or three slots in a month or so, go ahead and post, will keep our eyes open, volunteer to fill in for our private scrims ( which is hastily thrown together right now), and we will let you know.

i would like to join DHR i have been playing for about a month now and i am picking up the game really quickly and by the next month or so when ya start recruiting i hope i will be much better. i am very active i play several hours a night and rarly play on any other server than war is hell.

DO NOT say anything about DHR clan, or something like "i hear your thinking about joining DHR" or anything remotely like that. You've probably seen the text I wrote and that will get you a 1 day ban. We dont need the whole clan kicked off the server for trying to get to know someone so tread carefully, please. Just direct him to this thread, and let me know what you think of the guy in PM's. I know Krunk likes him.

Im not familiar with Brimstone, except for his high scores. K expressed interest in TEAM competition, thats why I wanted you to look at him, his average is over a 1000 so he qualifies skill wise, but he has to feel right as a person too. DHR has good natured skilled folks who arnt stat whores. Although someday, we will likely give in to the darkside and become just that, only to redeem ourselves by throwing an emporer down a ventilation shaft.

No offense to either player, as I think they’re both great, but I’d like to see us keep the 10 man roster for a little while. We’ve yet to enter league play w/ our current clan roster as a few of us were on the RCM-1 team.

There is a number of reasons, but I don't know how much of it I really want to go into. A part of it, is that I just flat out don't know if I'm really a good enough player for DHR. A part of it, is that I'm just sick of all the crap that is happening.

I've tried to be somewhat diplomatic with everything, but at the same time not trying to step on toes or piss anyone off. But the complete lack of leadership in DHR is getting on my nerves.

I don't want to go off on Salem for anything because of those opinions. Salem is driving me crazy with constant complains. No one says anything, as if we should just sit back and listen to constant complains. I could deal with it for a while, but now with this '50s crap, It's just straight annoying.

And as far the Orwellian theory that the server admins are out to get everyone and too damn PC. All people need is just some straight common sense of what is allowed and what isn't.

My two cents.

EDIT: Oh and there is something definitely going on when I am being harassed by Threat for half an hour or more and nothing happens to him. Yet I make a simple joke about homosexuals and communists and am kicked instantly. Jeff gets banned for 24 hours for answering a persons question.

Yet I get harassed and nothing is done about it. Way to crack down on people WiH... Glad you kick/ban people for such small things... yet I get harassed CONSTANTLY and nothing is done. Good to see everybody being fair.

Let me be real clear on something. I intend to direct this clan or what is left of it to what it was meant to be in the first place. This wreck of a season in CAL is over and the drama on the pub servers is going to come to an end. At least from anyone wearing the DHR tag.

--we will practice and get better so we dont appear to be the amateurs we were this season. Beating a team of stoners is nothing to get excited over.

--From this point on, not ONE BIT of grief torwards admins and owners. NOT ONE. If it comes to my attention that we can grow somewhere else we will SILENTLY move on. Until that day abide by ALL the rules and if you absolutely cant stand something anymore, PM me and Ill see what I can do about it.

I was harrasing you? First of all, you said that i said that saw was a bad movie when i never said that at all. All i said was that i heard it had mixed reviews and you interpret that as saying its bad. After that, i said, ill just try to stop arguing with the whiner and just have fun. Then you said something, and then another thing saying i was whining the next round and it was kinda hard to stop going right back at you. You never drop it. You always have to have the last word or try to be on top.

Whoa.. I like having fun. Jeff this stuff scares me, and if DHR is gonna be all about professional play, I'm sorry but I'm out. I play CS on WIH to let off some steam and enjoy myself, and I'd like to keep it that way. I know that you're pretty devoted to shaping up a real killing machine of a clan, but I think I'm just not the type of player to be a part of that. Sorry man.

It was a good run while it lasted, but I think I'd like to stick to purely unprofessional carnage. I got enough stuff in the real world to keep my professional side busy.

Well I guess DHR is dead then. When Adam gets back we will cancel the server. I have tried twice, not knowing anything about counterstrike, and failed to lead a clan. Oh well, inevitable I guess when you have no clue what your doing.
