Some of the regulars are ignoring our rules b/c they think they are above the law since they play here regularly. Sorry folks. That's not how things work around here. Starting today rule violations on the server will carry a minimum of 1 day ban to permaban. We are done with warning slays and kicks.
Carry on.
2. No racial slurs, excessive foul language or abusing other players!
This is the rule that concerns me the most, specifically the underlined portion. While I very rarely swear, when I accidentally TK someone, I may say d*** or sh**. I was just wondering how strictly this will be enforced, as about the only time I ever swear on the server is if I TK someone (I hate killing my team so much...), and it would be frustrating if I got banned on one accidental slip.
It says excessive, I guess I'm just sending a feeler out to ascertain a more refined meaning of this particular rule.

Evol, have you been kicked for those words?
I would venture to say you have not nor would you
BUT with that said it would also depend on the context it was used in
So say some one is calling someone else a dumb noob pile of sh** worthless ahole .
Well yea there going on vacation, thats abuse.
F bombs G**dam/it Cu** and along those lines I and other Admins will not tolerate
As well as them being in a name and in used in Voice chat.
If you really need to say these types of words yell then in your room and let your Mom or Dad slap the snot out of you.
Bottom line is it depends on the Admin but I think most will agree with what I have said
we play too and really don't want or need to be warning/kicking/slaying players every 3 min because they think the rules are there to be broken and do not apply to them.
Well there wrong and will have plenty of time to bone up on the rules of the server

No, I haven't been kicked before, and I also would never swear at a person. Like I said, I was just trying to clarify what excessive swearing meant.
Thx Monkey^^

Good post Monkey.
Excessive is subjective interpretation depending on the admin(s) on at the time. "sh!t", "godamnit!" are usually ok.
The list of swear words recited by George Carlin are not ok however.

Personally G-D, C*nt, and N**ger are the ones that get me. I let the F-bomb go pretty often, but like monkey said just usually shout it out for the house to hear. :) Those 3 up there, to me, are the nasty ones.
Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in.

I am confused. I have seen it time and time again in the forums that the questionable word slipped. How can anyone say that it slipped? Do your fingers type the word with out your brain knowing about it? :dunno:
Come on! If I was an admin, I would seriously have to consider maintaining that role when you consider how much time they spend warning/kicking people that "slipped".
This post may aggravate some of you but my fingers and brain were working at the same time so nothing "slipped" out.

The f bomb and anything referring to god in a negative way gets me, racists, and ive seen a lot of those, thats the only time i wish i had admin abilities. When Kike Killin Jew Ni**er logs in and no one is around. That takes from my game. They would get booted by me before they fired there first shot.
