Well when Im not playing WOW im watching this on DVD. Dont get me wrong, I like it, and it has its great moments, but Im not solidly hooked yet and Im on like episode 12. I heard a lot of hype about this show so I was really looking forward to it, maybe I overhyped it to myself. So far the best part was Locke's story at the end of episode 4. That was just too cool.

I think if you're not hooked by ep 12, then it's not for you. I like the show very much. I was hooked after the pilot episode.

Maybe hooked isnt the right word. I mean...........im on episode 12 arnt I? I think its the curse of J.J. Abrahms. He presents this great idea, gets it on TV, its great....but it seems like something is missing. Its the characters mostly that work. I like the doctor, I like the main chick, i like the fat guy, I like the father and son ( he was great in OZ btw), i like locke and I like Said, and I even like Sawyer ( by the way if I was on that island I would of done what sawyer did too but not that extent). Maybe Im just compelled to see where he is going witht he show. Or maybe I need to watch the last half of the season before I snap decide.

This is what does it for me week after week. I keep waiting for that big "something" to happen. Myself and the wife are hooked and have been since the pilot... like Wihadmin.

Okay, for those of you watching this. It has become apparent that there could now be two groups of the "Others". One group of "Others" could be from the tail section of the plane and the other group of "Others" could be the actual "Others" that the french women spoke of. This story gets more bizarre every episode.
And what's with Jin and his fluent English at the end of next weeks scenes.
Thoughts...?? I have so many.

I have no theories but since this is the first time I've seen this thread, I must pronounce that I am a LOST junkie. I love the show. The characters are real. I feel like there is more truth in these characters than anything that reality TV has put out. I also agree that the show is made off the potential energy of that "big thing on the horizon". If you've been waiting for it, and keep watching the show, then they've got you hooked. I think the most interesting part about it is when you see the characters on the island and how they react to stress and other situations and then you see flashbacks of their life that are about loosely related events from their previous life. I have never seen a show explore the development of the human psyche to this depth before. Also, this show is inovative in the one place I hold most dear, the music. As a music teacher, I love the fact that they use live musicians and produce it much like a film score would be done. The music is great and so organic it brings the show to life in a way no other show has achieved yet.
YAY LOST!!!
I also am one of the LOST junkies and I have to say it's apparent that there are people who survived the crash from the tail section. I mean they basically say it when Rose said that her husband wasn't dead. What I'm more interested from last night's episode is what about the other 5 stations, if they're on the same island or where are they? It'll be interesting when they start searching the bunker more, and I'm going to guess at the end of this season they will stop putting in the numbers into the computer.

Me and Kir watched the first season on DVD in 3 days and then the next day was the first episode of season 2. It is one of the best shows out there right now imo.
