People really hate that map this much?

I used to hate it, but once I started playing on it with a good strategy, i started to really enjoy it.

I say give the map a couple more weeks before you make up ur minds.

This map is like every other map once you learn it the smooth oncelot will take over. I guess you could say this is easy for me since Im the number one killer of this Map MOO HA HA HA HA. I think that it is balanced and if you have a good team then either side can win unlike dust which even with a good team you can get slaughtered.

The poll is going to run for at least another week b/c the results are close. So de_tides isn't going anywhere just yet.

I don't like it at all... for smaller games it is alright... but for 16 vs 16 it is just too cramped.

I agree salem.. it's much better with less ppl.

BTW wihadmin, make sure the same person can't vote twice ;)

I like Tides, it seems very well done, and had a pretty good layout, it is a bit small, but that just makes for more frantic firefights.

If this map doesn't get removed... then I will start my campaign to get havana removed again. ONE WILL BE REMOVED! ;)

I played just the other day... I just have had a few things to do the past few days so I haven't had time to play yet. I will probably play later today.

I think Tides is a slightly more balanced version of the dusts with difference background - I still dont understand why people hate it so much but dont mind other maps. Anyway, I'm uncertain whether a simple majority kills tides or what, but I'd like to suggest that we require a large majority, rather than a simple 51% or better to remove it. After all, I would venture a guess that a simple majority would remove at least half of the maps from the repertoire, if they were also put to a vote. Anyway, I know I'm new to the server and this website, but I'd also like to recommend piranesi and havana (especially havana!!!) get put to the vote. I've heard far more complaints (my own included) about havana than tides.
