I would like to tell every one that my brother got his first straight A report card today. He was so happy when he came home and showed us all. The funny or sad thing (of course I had to laugh at the ironicy) is he also got band today. Poor lil guy, oh yeah and so did I. It was a pleasure playing with all you guys if the ban isn't reversed. Thanks and good luck.

Id like everyone to know that I graduated with a 1.6 in high school. I never did a lick of homework. I slept about 6 hours a day.
( this is not Eject)
Anyhow join the military if you took my high school route and it will put you back on track. Or take the Pillsbury Doughboy route ( likely the better choice) and never do a lick of homework and sleep 6 hours a day in college.
The Choice. Is yours. :dunno:
I took the middle road didnt do all my hw by any means but did end up with decent grades and its the whole junior college route for me.

I pretty much biffed high school then somehow got into Fillm Production in college, but dropped out due to health issues and the fact that the film industry is full of pretentious twerps.
Now I'm hopefully headed into a prestigious Game Development course
I'm already a part of 2 mods for Unreal Tournament 2004 right now (links in sig), but I think school will give me that boost i need to get into the industry.

Good Job Dough.
Nice to know there are kids trying i wish my 18 year old worked as hard.
he seems to be taking the route i took no homework ace the exam barely pass. In my case the military was a simplier choice, since there was no war on. i served 4 years in the marine corps OURAH! infantry anti tank assault with a secondary MOS of demolitions. i love and hated it at the same time but the disicpline i learned in the corps helps me every day of my life.
I would encourage everone that is not sure what they want in life to look at the military they will train you, feed you, cloth you and you will make friends that you would die for with out thought. to this day if one of my marine buddies called and needed me i'm there no hesitation. even if joining the military means going into combat and being wounded or even killed it is a small price to pay for the freedoms that we enjoy every day of our lives.
Good Luck dough in whatever you do i hope that out of this mess you can find some joy in the kind words many of us had for you.

I agree with monos, I spent 9 and a half years in the navy then went to work with Lockheed. It does give you some sense of direction when you really have no place to go. I dont reccomend the marines though with their 31% casulty rate in Iraq. Then again I dont reccomend submarines anymore either since the San Fran ran into an underground mountain with 3 of my old shipmates onboard. I am however still in contact with quite a few of those guys and Ive been off that boat since 1997. There is a bond unlike any other in the military that folks just dont get in college.
College: "Hey Bob remember that time we did jello shots after finals and made out up in our dorm room?"
Military: "Hey Bob remember when our convoy got attacked and we lit those little shits up and then celebrated back in camp by gangbanging 5 Philipino whores."
Yah my college friends envy me sometimes.
