Keeps on exiting

The last few times I've tried to play it keeps going off the server to the main menu. I'm not sure what is going on.

Whenever I have had really bad lag in the past, the game usually freezes for a bit and I eventually return to the action. At the moment, I seem to be suddenly leaving the server completely. It happens without any sign of the connection being bad.

I have a 56k connection, but I have been playing on the server for quite a while and this has never happened to me previously. Could anyone shed light on this? Thanks in advance.

It is possible that your connection doesn't handle the auto-redirect functionality that we ahve on the public server. When the public server is full or 32/33, it will auto-redirect client connects over to the FF-On server.

Sounds feesable, as it has started happening recently. I'll try playing on another server and see if I can play for a reasonable amount of time. If the same problem arises, there's obviously something wrong at my end. I'll let you know what happens.

Update - I tried the above and I managed to play for about 15 minutes or another server without any trouble. After exiting manually, I then went back to the WarIsHell FF-Off server. I managed to play for about 5 minutes before I was taken back to the main menu. Looks like my connection doesn't agree with the server anymore.

Thanks again. I know there's nothing that can be done, but at least I have some idea of why it's happening now.
