Auto-switch

Not sure if someone has made a topic about this but was wondering how exactly does the auto switch work. I know when I played on moongamers counterstrike it would average everyones kills then move a person who matched the average kills to the other teams then worked its way down according to what I was told.

I've been teamswitched sooooo many times after getting killed and I really don't mind that but it gets annoying when your in first place with your team and get killed then BAM Auto-switch. Yesterday I had 73 points in Dragons Valley about 2/3's into the match got killed and then bam now I'm a USMC soldier. Went from first with the Chinese to first with USA which I don't mind but I think it should auto-switch someone from halfway down the list and not just the person who happens to die first.

Any way of changing that?

Auto-team switch's logic is not known. It is only there to balance the # of players on each team. It is not a smart balance in terms of performance of the teams.

However, it is priority based. From highest to lowest priority:

Protected clan tags
Commanders
Squad leaders
Squad members
1 person squads
Lone wolves

Useful information. I think I was a squad leader at that time or maybe a squad member dunno but least I know how what I might have to deal with when I'm a lone wolf.

One feature rumored to be in the upcoming patch is that the commanders/squad leaders are exempt from being auto switched

Squad leaders don't always have priority though, just the other day I was playing and the game switched me to the other team out of the first place squad I was leading :angryfire:

Were you on WiH? Ever since we've turned on auto-balance, of all the times I've been squad leader, I've never been switched. Perhaps it is still buggy and they need to firm up their logic in the auto-balance routine.

I only get team switched as a lone wolf anymore....
