Did anyone ever play this game back in '97 when it came out? (and in '98 when the expansion came out?)

Wow, havn't taught of that one in a long while. Actually never got to play it because I bought it, took it home and it wasn't compatible (or is it able?) with my graphics card at the time. Software Etc. wouldn't tkae it back so it go put in my drawer and is, I assume, still floating around here somewhere.

I played it back in the day and thought that it was a rather fun game. From what I remember it was one of if not the first strategy game to allow you to set unit behavior and the such. But either way it was fun and I might try digging it out to play it.

Definately not the first. I know Warcraft 2 which came out in 1995 had unit behavior options.

I have the second one but I could never get the first one to work. Just like I can't get System Shock 2 to run on my systems now. :wallbash:

Just installed it earlier on my comp and was able to get into the game to play some. I then exit out and later when trying to get back in it says that I need to install directX 3a. Now I'm not to camputer literate but won't installing an earlier version of directX over ride my current version? I want to play this game but if I have to do that then hell no.
