Hey, something weird has been happening to KR3W and i when we are playing on the server... In the middle of the game, it is a random time, our screen will just stop at one point, and we can tab to see scores, but they wont update, like we are timing out, but we have excellent internet, and that is definately not the problem. Then if we just close out of the server, we cant rejoin, the only way to fix it is if we restart our computers... It happens about every half hour and it is horribly annoying

has anyone else gotten this type of error? or does anyone have any ideas what it could be? it happens when we are both on the server, or when i am alone, so its not confllicting IP's or anything... Any suggestions will help, thanks guys.

The EXACT same thing happened to me twice last night. I thought maybe my ISP was farting but it has never happened before.

I've had this problem before, too. However, it usually seems to be a problem on my end, because usually it's just me (Mother Goose and I play together). Sometimes my comp will crash and freeze just like you're describing.

On a couple instances it has happened to us both. It's bizarre. Half the other people will keep running, and the other half will stand still. Then our character freezes. You can hit tab and bring up scores, and even the chat prompt, but you can't DO anything.

It doesn't happen often so I don't worry too much.

it happens everytime i've played in the last few days... and i play during the day in the evening and late night... so its not really time specific, and it seemed i was the only one experiencing it... except for kr3w, who was sitting next to me

I have gotten two sorts of freezes while playing CS: Source.

1. Complete system freeze, almost always has a sound loop. Only way I've been able to fix this is with restart. I have tried to wait it out to no avail, mandatory restart.

2. Server freeze. Looks similar to the other one, but the screen jitters a little and there is no sound loop. This one can be waited out. Eventually CS will crash to server choices and depending on the state of the server, you can rejoin.
