WoW new Server Who is playing what?

Ok who is playing what class/race on the new servers coming out? I havent decided yet as to what I will play Druid/Warlock/Warrior/Rogue/Priest ......not necessarily in this order but you get the general idea........

I'm playing a Night Elf Warrior on the Shawdow Council Server (I think thats the server). And also a dwarf paladin on the same server. It would be cool to get a server where WIH people played on with everyone being on the same side and just wooping ass and shit. My two cents.

I'll be back now, has the patch come out yet??? I got my son through Thunderhead Keep, and now he is at the last mission in GW, spent the weekend of gaming with him, as I promised him all last month we would do it!!! finally got it done!!! he thinks he is getting WOW now...

Chris and I played all weekend, level 21 priest and mage respectively. For someone who has never played games before she played alot more proffesionally then alot of idiots we got in our groups. She was sheeping adds at all the right times and arcane exploding groups of adds. Im talking Wailing Cavern Instance zone fighting, she was $$$.

The same cant be said for people I cant yell at directly. We had one group where two hunters were pulling in different directions. The not-the-primary pullers excuse? "Sorry Im lagging." Ok.......................so you lagged all the way up those stairs, made a quick left, pulled the boss, and lagged back down stairs? Right.

So tell me how PvP is? Are you constantly looking over your shoulder? Or is that just in certain zones. I really want to do PVP, yesterday a moonelf ran by and I wanted to keel him but couldnt. :(

It's certain zones Dave. It's a little bit like this.

In Horde territory if you see someone from the alliance they appear yellow to you. You have a choice to attack them or not. If you attack them you are now flagged and they and any of their friends can attack you back. Other wise you're safe. So you can always check out their levels before deciding to attack.

In Alliance territory its the same thing. You appear yellow to them and can't attack them unless they attack first. So if you're higher a lot of them won't attack you but they'll yell on their general channel for higher levels to come so I usually blink away from the lower levels if they don't attack me and distance myself from them when i'm alone.

In contested territory it's a free for all. Everyone is flagged for PvP.

There is also the battlegrounds which freaking own. you and chrissy should be able to do battlegrounds if you're 21. its 21-30 I think. its in the barrens just before you enter ashenvale. you go north and on gold road before ashenvale you go up a road and enter yourself for the queue. that or you ask a battle master in any major city to queue you for battlegrounds. its PvP and super fun. its capture the flag basically.

I think I am going to roll a warrior, probably a dwarf or something (I haven't done any research at all on which race I want yet) and I'll probably make him a duel wielding fury warrior (AKA, the Rage Monster) geared for PVP.

What is considered Horde Territory? Orgimar, Thunder Bluff, and Undercity are the only zones Ive been in that actually say Horde Territory when you enter them. Does that mean zones like Barrens is contested? Its really confusing because they have forts and outposts set up all over the place.

On the PVP im thinking of rolling a dwarven hunter or a human druid.

No the barrens is horde territory. Perhaps the territories are different on PvP but everything has been dealt out on the PvP server. Also goblin towns are neutral like Ratchet and Booty Bay so the guards will attack horde or alliance if you fight in a neutral town even if the town is located in horde or alliance territory.

Ok thats the HUGE difference then. In my opinion that completely changes WoW into a different kind of game. One I really want to play. I mean, non PVP is still fun but there has been a handful of times now that some alliance players have been fighting in the same zone as us right next to us and its kind of like huh??? Not that the game isnt any less fun, there could be more danger I believe though.

--Neutral Cities like Booty Bay. How does that work? No fighting in town?

The alliance can make the choice to attack you in places like Booty Bay but if they do then the guards will attack them. However if you're in a low level goblin town with like level 40 guards and some level 60 alliance decide to come attack people in it well they probally have a good chance of killing the guards. But its like that anywhere I suppose because i've been in raid parties where we've killed off alliance guards in towns like Astranaar in Ashenvale.

Yeah, think of the guards in neutral towns as bouncers. 'Cept they don't throw you out when you cause trouble. They just kill you.

When you enter a contested zone a message will come across your screen saying Blah Blah Contested Territory (Your on a normal server so that meassage might not pop up)

Only Night Elves can be Druids on the Alliance side......

I dont think it will ever be official, but that seems to be the way the cards are falling.

I checked Blizzards site today to see any news of the upcoming update but was wowed by the announcement of the expansion being unveiled at Blizcon in Anaheim. Looks like I might go to that after all.

I want to start a new character but I want to go somewhere where most of you guys are at. So there are people playing in about four or five different servers. Instead of waiting for this new server can we all just pick a server and start playing there? That is anyone that wants to start a new character and possibly a WIH guild. What is the benefit to waiting for this new server?

The draw of waiting for the new pvp server is that, EVERYONE on the server starts off at the same time, whereas if you join an already established server theres going to be 60's running around already while you're just getting started.

I want to know if I missed something..or just plain screwed..ok I bought this game today(new) said on the box "First month of play included" well while I was creating an account the paymant method came up with options for credit card or game card..I chose game card thinking thats how I get the "month of play" but to my suprise the box I bought didn't have one...so whats the deal? Did I miss read something or not do something right?

it asks you for your card #, but dont charge you until your month is up... that is if your account is still valid... it sorta an insurance thing for them. But if you dont like it phoenix, you can cancel it before your month is up, and they wont charge your card.
