no violence? cmon nsane...
just earlier today my high school soccer team played a rival in a preseason exhibition game... i fractured one of their player's tibia and someone else on my team broke an opposing player's nose. we won, 4-0, and it felt great :thumbsup: .
u should play futbol, its much more violent than football
my experiance against catholic schools is that they usually play a LOT dirtier than non-religious schools, thanks to a catholic school hockey team i have braces now :x , took a high stick to the face when ref wasnt looking
anyway, good luck nsane, go crack some skulls!

What i meant is violence after the game (the type like rioiting and so forth)> :yaya: Yeah there will be tons of violence during the game because it's football.
Joining this school is one of the best things I ever did. school+religion= :thumbsup: I love attending a Christian academy because not only do we study the bible IN school we pray IN school AT school sanctioned events and it is an awesome atmosphere.
(its my thread ill hijack it if i want to =P)

haha, I need to figure out how to get my cell phone pics 'n vids hosted on a site cuz the last two days some christian evangelists been parading up 'n down the south oval of OUs campus saying the end times are upon us cuz of the tsunami and Katrina incidents.
they're kinda weird though, I think they're cult-level stuff cuz they say work is bad and college is bad because these are things of the world. Lemme see.. got pamphlet right here somewhere. Bla can't find it
They had huge pickets, huuuuuge signs saying stuff like "OBEY GOD OR PERISH" and "LAST DAYS, SATAN RULES, TURN TO JESUS, NOT CHURCH!"
But they were saying stuff along the lines of work's a curse, drawing that conclusion from scripture such as how God said man must toil 'n sweat 'n such. That going to college is bad because it raises you up in the world's folly and establishes you as a 'natural' man, a person of the world, who cannot know God. Also that (and this was emphasized in bold and italics in the pamphlet) seeking to better oneself and to better the world around us is bad because we're not focused on God in doing that and that the world around is is evil, so in effect we're serving evil.
Basically, from listening to'em and reading their stuff, I got the feeling they were trying to recruit the uneducated so they can indoctrinate them in their line of thought. Prolly get'em to drink kool-aid too.
Nutso's and crazie's fo' sho' More than just madly desperate to save people. They were nuts! And I don't see how they believed their fire & brimstone antics were going to help persuade anyone to do anything except give Christianity a bad rep 'n a deaf mind.
I'm Christian myself, and I know we have some fellow Christian's here as well, and I was wondering what some of you think about this life of ours and what we should do with it.
EDIT:
I mean, personally, the Bible tells us straight up the world's already condemned, so what's the point of focusing in on the bad things people do like these guys were? It's not necessarily that their acts are condemned, it's that their nature is condemned. So what good is focusing in on the bad acts when they spring from a bad nature?
I mean, if you've got a cup of water that's dirty. You can't sit there and pick at the dirt until you get it clean. It's just not feasible. But if you pour more water into it until it's overflowing, the dirt has to go. I think that's how it should be. I think we should focus on the good and build from it.
We got a guy called pastor bob that hangs outside of Dale Hall and gets up on a chair and preaches constantly. But he too focuses on bad, and makes a lot of judgemental claims. Are you a sorority girl wearing a skirt? Omigee, he'll flat out finger you out fo the crowd and call you a whore. Same with frat guys. I could go on 'n on about the other thigns he's said about homosexuals and voting for Kerry, but I'll spare ya... Just nuts. x.x;

The first highschool football game in my town was last friday. 30 mins after the game there was a drive by shooting where some of the kids had gone to eat after the game. Apparently everyone forgot it was a fing Highschool football game. WTF is wrong with people :thumbsdown:
