I disagree. When playing CS:S, the best thing to have is a clan.

A) The coolest thing is Scrims/Matches. They're so much fun compared to pub play. Nothing like the rush. And knowing it's actually for something.

B) The people. You can work, and enjoy the people in your clan by getting to know them on an account you spend more time with them than anyone outside of your clan.

Solo = No go.

Since i've been in <TI> i've been loving every minute of it. Matches > Pub Scrims > Pub

It depends on how you like to play, Competitve or for fun, if you want to make a game mean something join a serious clan, if your in it for fun either solo it or join a non-serious clan.

I left PNP for a good a reason.

I left TI cause I didn't like some people in it. :jerkit:
