one of my good friends is japanese from tokyo, if you wanted he could probably translate or write something out for you if you wanted.

I am taking Japanese in college now (well in a week) and I have a week to remember everything that I didn't learn the first year I am fucked lol. Fire away I'll be happy to try, but not really know the answer. :D

i took japanese for 3 years in high school, but the only stuff i can remember (other than the bare bare bare basics) is random crap when my mind is roaming.
and demon, i know exactly what you're feeling cause i have to recall all the german i forgot from last year = /

I was thinking, not too long ago, about looking for Japanese classes again. Always wished I was able to spend time in Japan to really learn the language. Too bad I'm out of school now.

OK. Here is the "phrase" I'm interested in:

I probably am not going to spell this right (I can only do it phoenetically):

"Bato" or "Bado" also possible "Bato-Bato" or "Bado-Bado".

As Wikipdeia says, bado is a type of wagashi, which is a general term, similar to daifuku.

Daifuku is a soft rice cake stuffed with a sweet filling.
