Looks like the next official valve map is de_train, though Valve hasnt announced anything yet. If owners do a search of their GCF files they can find some de_train textures already loaded. I would expect the map in the next few weeks. Cheers.

I made an Unreal Tournament map of my school as a project for that same school... and I think that was after Columbine.

I agree with de_inferno, that map was a lot of fun to play on. As for milita I always found that map to be horribly unbalanced, though there are a lot of those already, and maybe without AWPs it won't be so bad.

THe other day i played on another server. I know I know shame on me but it was late and no one was on WiH. Of course all the players on there were cussing and taunting everyone very unpleasant playing group. However we played a map called de_train I kept asking if it was the new release or a custom but no one replied. If the new map is like this one it doesn't look like much fun. But im sure the competition on here will make it better then my experience on another playing field since I pwned all those that played it with me.

i don't care what map is on this server or any server here at WiH... it will be great simply because of the mix of players we have and the camaraderie here. there is no other way about it. i know which ones of you bitch because you're not Top 5 and i know which one of you bitch because you think the top 5 hack... even still, this is a great server to play on. the admin, the players, and the occasional noob make WiH one of the most sought after servers on the net.

@Raleigh: That map was either a really crappy custom map or an equally crappy custom map that are trying to pass as Train remakes.. I've played both, and they both blow ass.

I think people are confused on ths topic. I believe valve has already started to make the de_train map seeing how the files are there. My call of "will see this map in a few weeks" is way off. They promised us the de_compund map in February and they have all of two days left to deliver on that. I am heavily thirsting at this point for new maps. I am getting bored and find the only map I enjoy now is Italy and Tides. I dont know why, those are the only two I look forward to.
