Anyone a console gamer as well?

I already reserved my xbox 360 and was just wondering of anyone else in this community is a console gamer as well. I am pretty much hooked with the WiH community at this point and it would be great if we could get a crew together that plays online with consoles every now and then.

We all know PC's own though. :rockon:

lots of people here do... I myself sold my PS2, and my son's game Cube, we have Xbox, but not live yet, and yes, I intend to get the new 360, that is why I dumpedthe other two. :thumbsup:

I'm too poor for an xbox360.. I'll probably end up getting a revolution though... it's gonna be pretty tight. Smash brothers online would be so amazing.

I was mostly a console gamer until I found WIH. I do have an XBOX with Live, PS2, Gamecube and just about all the old school systems from the Intellivision to the Dreamcast and all in between. I will own the 360 when it comes out. If you guys start playing on Live let me know and I will be there.

I also have an Xbox w/ Live and PS2. I have the 360 on pre-order as well.

Every now and then, a whole bunch of us will get on Xbox Live and play some racing games. FPS on console just doesn't do it for me since I play them on the PC.

Should we start playing PGR2 again on Live?

Ehh, I really don't care about copy protection. I do not plan on using pirated software on it, so I have nothing to worry about?

If the online play ever came to the quality of PC Online Gaming I'd probably get a console. See its not about money for me, its about playing MMO's and FPS with 32 > people. There just isn't that kind of console gaming yet. (If there is one game though, its not enough, i play multiple MMO's / FPS and I need mutliple to get to me to switch).

there are some types of games that I prefer on consoles. Metroid prime isnt an fps its a first person adventure game, so to compare it with games like doom3 and FEAR or half life 2 really isnt proper, but I will do it anyway. Metroid Prime owns all those titles and the cubes controls for that title are just brilliant.

I am looking forward to playing CoD2 on the 360 but I really hope that they offer a mouse and key set up. It drives me nuts that the mass market console gamer doesnt understand the art form of the mouse and keys for first person shooters. But its good to see that a lot of PC gamers also play consoles as well. I probably wont play on xbox live again until Burnout revenge comes out, Burnout 3 was just a blast over xbox live.

But the the art of control pad gaming is taken to the max with virtua fighter 4. Its pure zen. Long live virtual kung fu!

im DEFINATELY going to get a ps3, even if its going to be like 500 dollars...that thing is gonna be SICKKK, say the vid card is better then the 7800, they use 7800 as a mule....imagine wat some of those games have the possibility of looking like once companies understand the system and can exploit it to its fullest
