I work for a world leader in avionics which was highly involved with the F-22. This was just sent as an internal email. I only copied and posted the best 2 pics, the original Email had a dozen pics:

PHOTOS The First F/A-22 Delivery to Langley AFB
These are Great Inflight Photos of the F/A-22 as the first Aircraft
Delivery was being made to Langley AFB in Va.. Langley is to be first
Operational AFB for the F/A-22. It is a very Beautiful AFB, located in
a picturesque location, as you can see in these photos, near Norfolk and
Hampton, Va.

The Aircraft flying along with the F/A-22 in several of these photos is the F-15, which will be replaced by the F/A-22 since Testing by the USAF has verified our predictions that the F/A-22 would be several times better than the F-15.

In Actual Inflight (simulated) Combat Operations against the F-15, one F/A-22 was able to operate without detection while it went Head to Head against 4 F-15's and (2) F/A-22's against ( 8 ) F-15's. The F/A-22's scored Missile Hits (Kills) against each F-15 Aircraft and the F/A-22's were never Detected by the F-15's or Ground Based Radar.

Here in about 8 months time is when I choose what platform I want to get into. The days of dogfighting are pretty much over so I was thinking of flying SH-60's because they are being modified and their mission is going to change, and the only real combat a Navy pilot will see is going to be while flying the 60's. But I see pictures like the F-22 and the F-35, and I get to the point that I'm not sure what the hell I want to fly. Thanks Dinky.

You're going to fly a Whorehawk IRL? Cool! Make sure you have support kit so you can get lots of points.

Nice, we had a couple F22's land here a couple weeks ago because one had a fuel leak. I got about 200 yards away from it but no closer because the security guarding it. I missed their takeoff when they left although I'm sure it would hav blown my eardrums... (anyone know if these things are louder than F-15s.. Anyways, they are awesome to look at and I can only imagine how cool they look with afterburners and wings retracted =)

I don't believe the F-22 has afterburners... its engines are designed to reach supersonic speeds without them (supercruise.) It's not clear to me whether or not the JSF will have afterburners.. all I know is its engine is based off of the F-22's P&W F119.

The F-22 may well be louder than the F-15.. it's got like 10,000 more lbs of thrust.

I do hope the YF-23 comes back... from what I hear it was superior to the (Y)F-22 in most respects. Plus it's evil-looking. And on the subject of experimental planes, the Russian fifth-gen fighters are crazily maneuverable.

i'm sure someone would be surprised to see a bunch of F-22's flying formation with 2 wings of 23's.
