Based on the info. which is not much I'd say BF2, but it could be anything. This guy needed a girlfriend. :hump:

This is not the first guy to die from this in South Korea. He probably did have a girlfriend. Unfortunately she was probably a Protoss or a Zerg.

Some people who have other serious issues in life, can use video games as an escape and like anything else too much of something is horrible for them.

Note this guy had previously quit his job so he can play more video games, he definitely had issues. Unfortunately this isn't a one time store either.

I doubt BF2 did this to him. If he's in South Korea, then clearly he plays SC/BW. And most southern Koreans are zerg. We all know his girlfriend was Zerg. If you played SC as much as me, then you would know this.

Poor dude.. 50 hours straight.

I never thought of SC as a game ppl still played except at LAN parties for nostalgia. It was a fun game but DAMN there is newer and better out there.

Tell that to the Koreans..

They still run that stuff at WCG with $$$ earnings.

Starcraft is still the most popular game in South Korea, even 7 years after its release. You have to admit, there really isnt a more balanced RTS out there.

Yeah, except for Rise of Nations, Warcraft 3, Age of Empires... Then there's upcoming Starcraft 2 and the new Age of Empires...

When I was in Korea for a year during 2004 the game I saw the most in gaming pubs was Warcraft 3. Damn... they were all good at it too.

On topic though: It was definitely a Blizzard game that did this to him... not BF2. :)

Starcraft isn't balanced. If anything, it's the MOST unbalanced game ever, which makes it better then the rest. You actually need to think. Zealots shred most basic units. I've seen 1 Zealot singlehandedly kill 8 marines.
