Nvidia's newest driver update

I don't know if this goes here or not, but I'm going to put it here anyway :P

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but I have not been on at all lately, and that is because I downloaded nvidia's newest drivers (updates) from their website, and installed them.

Well, low and behold, it didn't fix my inventory problem in Guild Wars (it lags horribly sometimes) and also, not only is it keeping me from playing movies right (really weird colors and really bright) but also, whenever I boot up CS, it tells me that I don't have 7.0 directx instaled...but I have a directx 9.0 installed, for a fact...

so wtf?!

yep i had that problem too when i was reinstalling my drivers (again) to see if my crashing would go away... i ended up having to install an older version

I had the same problem...uninstall and go back to the previous drivers.

I have a 9800 Pro and lately when I've been starting up CS it gives me a message saying my drivers are out of date and I should update them. But I seem to run everything fine so I don't really want to run into these problems. You think I should update anyway?

That's just it, I can't go back to the old drivers...it's a long story.


So does that mean I have to wait for an update, or is there any place I can go to download the previous driver?
