I used to play and had 3 full accounts with lvl 80s or up. I stopped so long ago that my accounts are all gone I bet. In all truthfulness, GW and WoW are too good to even think about going back to that.

I'd play Diablo LOD but I don't know how my characters would work online being they were never played there. Lvl 76 barb and 60+ sorc. Let me know if this would be possible.

you'd only be anle to play on open bnet(Hack central), all my characters on the closed realm, which means on their servers. So we wouldnt be able to play on the same realm. Blizzard banned like 6000 accounts or something for using maphacks, etc. and the 1.11 patch changed alot of things as well, butI got my sorc to lvl 70 on ladder, mostly using runewords!!!

Might try to play that way to see if it would be worth the time to invest from the beginning. :dunno: I still like to play from time to time.

for any1 that plays nonladder, I can set up a mule for you for 1 character, with the most elite stuff, I had played for a year and a half prior, nd still have 3 full mule accounts ofstuff, justsitting there. I played way TOOO much, ask Drayu. now it is just for fun, if you play ladder, then I can help with quests, a rush, leveling. and just remember when you start a character you have to play for 2 hours with in the first 10 days, to lose the expire sign.

The 1.11 patch has brought a new challenge with it, more Über bosses! Now, how can you get your hands on the new Über's loot? Let's find out...
With the release of the 1.11 patch, players may find a new set of seemingly normal items. Certain monsters now possess a key which may be used to create a new portal of mayhem. The Countess, the Summoner, and Nihlathak all have the ability to drop the new keys. The keys can only drop in Hell difficulty, and have a 1 in 34 chance of dropping. Once you collect all three keys, go to Act V and transmute the three keys in the Horadric Cube. One of three portals will spawn leading to a Über boss. The Matron's Den portal leads to Über Andariel (Lilith), the Forgotten Sands portal leads to Über Duriel, and the Furnace of Pain portal leads to an Über Izual. Lilith drops Diablo's Horn when you defeat her. Über Duriel sees no use for Baal's Eye after you defeat him. Of course, Über Izual is hiding an item too... Mephisto's Brain.
Wow, that was fun! But these useless body parts don't give me any skills, stats, or anything helpful... or do they? Toss the three body parts of the Prime Evils into your trusty Horadric Cube and transmute them in Act V. A new portal will appear. An epic showdown in Tristram awaits you!
Inside the Tristram portal, Über Mephisto, Über Diablo, Über Baal, and their minions greet you. The Über Prime Evils have been reunited, and it's up to you to be a hero! If your bravery keeps you alive, a nice charm will drop from the final Prime Evil. The Hellfire Torch is undoubtedly the best charm in the game.
The Hellfire Torch has the following attributes:
Hellfire Torch
Unique Large Charm
Level Requirement: 75
25% Chance to Cast Level 10 Firestorm on Striking
+3 to [Random Character] Skills
+10 to 20 All Attributes
+10 to 20 All Resistances
+8 Light Radius
10 Charges of Level 10 Hydra

yea i attempted to start playin again....but im not into it like i used to be...i can only pray that some1 out there at that company has d3 in their mind to be worked on eventually....with the way mmp are goin right now...it would be GREAT timing to put out the idea that they are thinkin about d3...but of course blizzard has been too busy wit wow to even think of d3 which would have an even bigger following......o well
and d3 would be the game that changes my mind about monthly payments...i know id pay like 10 bucks a month to play diablo 3 oooooo i want it!!!!

screw monthly payments, free d3, and SCREW world of warcraft, they think they're so good that they can extort their fans for their money-blood.
i want it, but im a cheap ass and screw that :upyours: that is right, blizzard, UP YOURS.

The money goes to pay for the massive amounts of bandwidth, server resources, and tech support for that equipment on all of those servers (there is a ton of servers). Games like Guild Wars manage to avoid this fee (although I am not sure how...) but the game feels shallow (I leveled a 20... and then quit bleh) and it's nothing but an "assist train on monk" fest in PVP.
WoW is a more in depth experience... as are most of the other MMO's out there which charge money per month (DAOC, AC, EQ...).
...but of course blizzard has been too busy wit wow to even think of d3 which would have an even bigger following......o well
Somehow I doubt that the D2 fanbase + new customers would be able to outmatch WoW which currently sports just over 1 million subscribers.
I used to hate WoW too (being a Dark Age of Camelot player) but I finally canceled my DAOC accounts and I gave into the dark side. I must say... the game is pretty good and the quest system really hides the level grind perfectly.

We met a 16 warrior today earlier. Ran into him again 3 hours later, he led me and Christina through Ragefire Caverns ( instance zone) and cleared all 5 quests we had in an hour, great guy. Nick, I totally agree with you, the quest system on the outside totally disguises the grind. The grind however, is occasionally awarded with that little better armor and exp bonus and I love it.

Yeah, I also like how the game guides you to whether you need to quest or stop to grind a level or so. The quest level color code is handy and tells you ahead of time if you can solo it, need to bring friends, or go grind someone else. It feels also that when you're trying to collect drop items for a quest that it withholds them until you've reached a leveling mark. That's probably just my imagination though.
I think I am going to avoid doing battlegrounds though... in all honesty the PVP system really isn't what WoW seems to shine at when compared to large scale objective based PVP in games like DAOC. I've read they have plans on releasing controllable zonees in the expansion... only time will tell I guess.

take it easy.........let me explain it for you........... you will get your moneys worth out of it......... Back in the Day I would spend 20$ a day putting these little round things in Video Games ==>Asteroids/Tempest/SpaceInvaders/PacMan/Stargate/DonkeyKong/DigDug/KungFuMaster/DonkeyKongJr & such so as u can see for less than 15$ a month (notice up above i said 20$ a day) u can enjoy the game too ZugZuG

ok, ill give that to you. one time i was waiting for my friend in an arcade and spent like 10 bucks in an hour. it's just lame cause im assuming you have to pay using a credit card in which case i gotta explain to my parents how good of a deal im actualy getting. im 18, but havent gotten one of those evil pieces of plastic yet and wish i will never need one, but we all know that wont happen.

You can also head to just about any place that sells electronics/games and pay cash for a game card. Then, you just scratch off the dealio and then put in the number and that'll last you for X months before you need another one.
