hey are we all strict pc gamers, or are there some of us here who play consoles to....i ask because there are some games someone wlse might own that id like some opinions on because i dont have the budget to buy everything i want :yuck:

I own an Xbox and a Gamecube. I only keep the Gamecube because my wife would stab me if I sold it- it was a Christmas present for our first Christmas together ( Wife <knives> Inspector Fowler ).

Most of my gaming time these days is spent playing Counter Strike. I'm waiting for Forza Motorsport. I still haven't beaten Half Life 2 or Halo 2. Stupid CS is so addictive. :thumbsup:

I own all of them. PS2, XBox, gamecube, DS, GBA, whatever you need to know I can tell you, or at least give you my opinion on. I'll break my thoughts about each down for you a lil.

PS2 awesome system love was weary in the beginning but became a believer and lover to Lara Croft in the beginning. But as you know relationships don't last forever and newer better things are comin out so it depends look into the next playstation. Some of my fav games for this system are Grand Turismo (all of them). Tomb Raider, and of course the sports games, big big sports fan.

The XBox on the other had I had to get for the whole Halo thing. I also have xbox live so i can play online but let me tell you those are some dam hackers on that thing. It will piss you off so dam bad. Cause it is soo dam unfair it's not funny. So i quickly canceled my subscription.
Fav games on that were NFSU2 (need for speed underground 3), Halo of course.

Game Cube well the only reason I got that was for the metroid games and resident evil games outside of those games there mostly kiddie games.

Now it comes down to controllers, well if your like me the ps2 controllers won't last as soon as something doesn't go my way for the tenth time up against the wall it goes and pieces go every where. However the set up on those controllers is sweet much better the the xbox ones. The xbox controllers don't take to long to get used to and they take a lick and keep on tickin. Game Cube well almost identical to the ps2 controllers.

I guess with all that said still I would have to say the PS2 is my fav console out there and I will continue the series when the next one comes out next year.

Yup... I got PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, and GBA. Really wish I didn't buy the GBA (stupid GC and their linking).

I've got GameCube and X-box, Gameboy, Gameboy pocket, Gameboy color, Gameboy SP.. Waiting for a DS. Also I have a Nintendo 64.

i have the PS2 love it all thou i have not turned it on since hl2/css came out. Nintendo will never get another penny of my money not after the piece of crap super nes. have flirted with buying an xbox in fact was going to get one for christmas but decided i would rather have 512mb more of ram and a new video card for the puter :thumbsup:

I have PS2, XBOX and Gamecube. I don't care to much for handheld systems, except for the PSP which isn't out in the US yet.

I play all genres of games, Fighting, RPG, FPS, Driving, Platformer, etc. Currently though I have been most enthralled in GTA: San Andreas for PS2, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within on XBOX, Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime 2 on Gamecube.

i just wanted to know if anyone has played mercenaries yet, i heard it was really good, but before picking it up, i need some opinions...along the same lines, does anyone know some good stuff about metal gear solid 3. ive always been a metal gear fan, but this one has me kinda skeptical :dunno:

I haven't played Mercenaries yet. I plan on renting it soon though.
As for MGS3. It. Is. Awesome. In my opinion it is the best in the series yet. The game is emphasized more heavily on survival rather than stealth, even sneaking around is still something needed several points throughout the game. If you do feel skeptical, rent it, or read some reviews about it on gaming websites.

Not sure about Mercenaries... but MGS3 is the greatest thing you will ever play. Everything in it is perfect. GO BUY IT NOW.
