so new map, thats cool. im really looking forward to the E-series tanks. not only is it something different but, the maybach engine was supercharged. i see the last v6.6 note is an e- series consumable for that. e50 replaces pantherII. thats cool, looking forward to getting the e50.

free platoons for two players is good move.

e series tanks explained -

a write up on an e50 that explains more (it has body of tiger II but goes 60 mph woot)

The E-50 hull was practically identical to the King Tiger in overall dimensions except for the glacis plate layout. The plates would have been interlocked and welded as on other German vehicles, giving great strength and rigidity. The engine chosen was an improved version of the Maybach HL230 as fitted to the Panther and the Tiger II. Called the HL234, it developed 900 HP using fuel injection, and was expected to produce up to 1200 HP with supercharging. The location of fuel tanks, radiators and fans was similar to the Tiger II. Maximum speed was to be 60 KPH. The idea was to assemble both types on the same production line, using identical production machinery and brought in sub assemblies.

This is probably the patch where this is going to happen

• Introduction of E-50.
Players who have a Panther II in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with an E-50 with the respective module setup (top engine will be changed for HL295 or added as a new one), keeping their progress and old crew.
Players who have a Pz. V Panther in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with a Panther II with the respective module setup (and 7.5 cm KwK 45 L/100 gun), keeping their progress and old crew, plus they will get a tier 7 Pz. V Panther with a stock setup, an extra garage slot, and a 100% crew.

btw, this has been released. downloaded this morning. i was pleasantly surprised to see that because i had panther, i got a free panther II with fully upgraded everything because they slid them down a tier. e50 now tier 9. wasnt expecting that.

fully loaded panther II worth a shitton of experience and credits.. free woot

and another perk is, panther and panther II were marginal tanks at tier 8 and 9 respectively. now that they are 7 and 8 i am kicking good ass. makes a gigantic difference.

To clarify my previous post. When you looked at the updated tech trees (specifically German) before the patch, at the bottom was a LARGE list of "new" premium tanks. Papasan is right they did do the light and med, but I'm annoyed the others weren't included.
