TV missile

Anyone know the Time-to-live on the TV missile on the attack choppers? By this, I mean how long does it live or how far can it fly before exploding?

Is there a limit? Ive shot them pretty far and they haven't exploded until impact. Im interested to know if there is one though.

Yeah I'd be interested to know, its got to be long though. Karl_58sow was my co-pilot once and shot one from the beach of gulf of omen, although way to the aircraft carrier, couldn't even see the carrier do to the distance, i think he said he hit the side of the carrier and then it exploded.

I landed on top of the oil tank in gulf of oman right next to the MEC main. Sitting there on the tank I shot a tv missile and it made it just about to the rail road tracks before it exploded.
