well i joined one http://uc.worldoftanks.com/uc/clans/1000000778/

as i wanted to be competitive and most these guys are cool older guys similar to wih and easily can see us the rest of us mixing well with them, and this way we can get gold flow and not pay that in fee by joining them.

you probably also recognize quite a few of the names too

I honestly think WiH needs some higher tier tanks to compete in clan wars. I'm thinking a few tier 8+ tanks. :dunno: Also we usually only have 4-6 people on at a time. That being said though, I have no problem spending some gold to form a WiH clan. Perhaps forming a clan would bring more people to WiH through WoT.

I could see the need to join a clan together. I personally just don't think we have enough people to sustain long term battle. I want to play clan wars but am not very available. I wouldn't have a problem with a non wih clan hanging out here if wih didn't have a clan. But I'm not an owner and not sure if drayu has alternative plans. Will check this out more Sunday.

I was hanging out on TS with a bunch of the True Northern Tanker guys. They seem like cool guys who have their shit together. I must admit I was a tad jealous while listening in to the clan wars. It seemed like a lot of fun.

I also have had the opportunity to play with some of the True Northern Tanker players, including their leader. The one's I've meet are decent to good players and are fun to game with to boot.

I'm not an owner either, but I think it might make sense if we have enough interested folks to join their clan as a group and offer them forum space here and the use of our Teamspeak. If we play our cards right we might be able to land one of our players in a leadership role for them as well, which would keep things interesting for our little community.

I've been playing with a clan of people I know from eve online, their clan is CCP (http://uc.worldoftanks.com/uc/clans/1000000180/). Their biggest problem and probably most peoples problems with clan wars is getting enough people active with high tier tanks (you need at least tier 6 arty or tier 8-10 mediums/tds/heavies) online at the exact time the clan battles start (they come up at 9pm est).

It sounds like most of you are interested in true northern already, but if that doesn't work out you might also consider ccp. During the afternoon they do company battles with combined euro/american teams, and have also just started clan wars, taking two provinces in the middle east. Unfortunately though we don't have the north american time zone numbers yet to reliably hold them. I've asked the leader and he'd be happy to recruit anyone interested.

Remember CCP that StaticV mentioned also as possibility. I played with this group tonight in a few company matches and they are skilled group. I think they are a good fit also.
