The vk 3001 (H)

Just curious about your opinions.

I'm looking to go up both the German heavy and medium tech trees and realized if I followed the tree to the vk 3001 (H) (the middle of the three tier 6 VKs) I could save myself on XP and buy one less tank as I tier up.

The only thing is the stats on that VK look pretty bad. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with it and what they thought of it?

yeah i am in same situation second time around.

i have not seen anything great about the (h). so i think i am going to branch off one before and go the iii/iv --> 3001p route.

i am going for german heavies and mediums. i plan on skipping 3001h.

From taking a look at all the stats:

Same available guns.

It looks like 3001H has slightly better acceleration (lighter tank with only slightly smaller engine) and better handling (degrees per second on tracks is way better, 30 vs 40). It also has 60 more hit points.



It's top speed is slightly less and it has less armor, only 50 front on the hull compared to 75 on the 3001P. Same with the initial turret.

The second turrets are interesting though. The 3001P only has 100 armor front while the 3001H has 120 armor front. The H has less side armor on it but it weighs significantly less (meaning better handling over all).


Looks like the H is definitely more mobile than the P. And the Turret difference looks interesting.

I think I'm going to give it a shot, as I've never used it. We'll see what happens!

Awesome, give a review after playing it maxxed out. Nothing better than a new tank youve neverrun before.
