Here I sit waiting on my flight to my Honeymoon. As I sit here, still feeling the effects from my Bachelor party, I look fondly on the culmination of the afore mentioned evening.
I do not drink. That is not to say I havn't drank before and nor do I look down on those who do. But I have always had a problem with excess and as such I stopped a few years ago. So my "friends" start me off with beers for lunch at noon and continue to more beers and three shots of various liquer at a bar during several bad games of darts. It shouldn't be hard for anyone here to imagine that I was hammered by 3:00 pm. We then drove to another city for a cool down period (i.e. a movie) then proceded to a restaurant known as the Tilted Kilt. Think Hooters but in plaid. Good drunk food followed by my friends asking the waitress to bring me a shot, her choice. She turns to me and says, "I'm gunna fuck with you." Result is a shot called three wise men. I was not happy about that one but in best groom fashion, I downed it and we then proceeded to the final location of the night.
I have been to strip clubs in the past. They are fun diversions but I usually am going to celebrate for someone else. Well gentlemen (and the possible lady) I found the one strip club that I would live for in exchange for my ever lasting soul. If you happen to find yourself in Birmingham AL and need some company I recommend the Furnace. I can't even begin to describe the girl I had for a private show.
