Greatest tank battles on Military Channel

For you tank buffs, Military Channel started showing last week Greatest Tank Battles on Wed nites. The first show was about the Battle of 73 Easting. This was a tank map in Desert Combat (I think). Tonite, they're showing the battle between the Israelis vs. the Syrians. My DVR is taping it right now.

The Battle of 73 Easting sounded it like it was more of a total pwnage than a battle.

This week's show was about the Battle for Golan Heights. All out tank warfare between Syria and Israel. Insane!

Next week is the Battle of El Alamein (another DC map).

I watched the 73 easting one and it was amazing how unprepared the Iraqi tankers were for the U.S. tactics and tanks. It seemed like the U.S. tankers shocked the hell out of them because the U.S. made some mistakes that put them in bad situations but the Iraqi's failed to capitalize on the mistakes.
