Alright, I have been around for a while, but figured I would fall into this introduction trap as everyone else out there.
Ok, nickname ArchBuck comes from my RL nicknames of Archie (comes from Archie Bunker, since I look kinda like him) and Buckminster (comes from Bucky (my teeth) and Buckminster Fuller (the chemists out there will know who I am talking about, even though I cannot spell his name)
Currently I am 23 as of the 30 of July and I come from a place known as Palo Minnesota, which is right next to Embarrass Minnesota... combine the two towns you get a population of around 200... I mention Embarrass because it is known for being the coldest spot in the continental US... we commonly have weeks of -50 to -60 below (no wind thank god)
Currently finishing out my teaching licence... I hold degrees in Chemistry, physics, Broad field science, and minors in biology, geology, and mathmatics... long story short, I want to teach High School Science... however the education program has proven to be very difficult for me since about 99% of it is total Bullshit... with a bunch of PhD's trying to mess with some kids mind just to make a buck... at any rate, my third try to get through the program (last two times I finally got pissed and quit the program...incidentally, going into the chemistry field would just about double my salary, so it looks pretty damn good when I am ticked at the education program)
I am a hard core Battlefield player... having been started with the BF1942 demo, going to BF1942, then to DC, FH, BFV, WWII mod (BFV), POE, and now BF2... however, I am also a fan of many other games, like Space Empires (kick ass TBS), Empire Earth (1 and 2), Thief (1, 2, and 3), the warcraft series (including WoW, where I had 2 level 60's a mage and a pali, before I quit the game when BF2 came out)
I am a long term member of the very old clan called Ã…| Online Apathy... a slightly different clan that puts real life before gaming... the origonal members of which I have known for years and have played many LAN parties and other games with since I was proabably 13 (warcraft 1 started it).
At any rate, know most of you here, even if not in game... :) As you can tell, I like to type a lot ... if you have read any of my war stories...
