yo, some of you may know me, or run into one of my bullets at one time or another....


anyhow, this guy: H|L|S_Turbo....

teamkills repeatedly to obtain choppers and jets...and then he followed me around an aircraft carier shooting at me, and trying to shoot me out of any vehicle I entered. as well as trying to run into my mines on purpose so he could punish me for a TK.

said he was trying to get me banned, by trying to get me to team kill him (he'd shoot me in the leg, hoping i'd retaliate, or stand directly infront of me while im trying to fight, so i'd hit him)

and at one point, he got into a jet, flew off, came back and tried to crash it into me, missed me, and hit like 7 other teamates and killed them, then came back, and started sniping at me tillh e killed me. (yet for some reason it did not give me an option to punish him a few times, why, i do not know)

I'd appreciate it if one of the admins out there would look into him if they could :)

I'm noticing an increasing number of Team Killing going on after the 11:00 PST timeframe...I play at work as well in the middle of the day and I don't see it as much.

Is there anyway we can get an admin to have a look see a few nights a week to help us late nighters out???

hey paul! :)

yeah we need a late night admin, i play mostly between 9pm till 5am....and there is never (used loosely) an admin on that late at night and the TKing for vehicles crap starts all the time.

I love the server and the people, but some of them newb TKers gotta go!

We hear ya. Believe me guys, if we could add more admins, we would. The last attempt at giving admin access caused horrible crashes to the server. This was this past weekend. For whatever reason, the 64-player BF2 server is really sensitive to changes, whether that's in con files, BF2CC or PunkBuster. Everytime we try to work with the server to allow admins, it crashes every 90 minutes. We're not hacking it since it's a ranked server, we're just using the built in functionality (supposedly built-in) to allow admins. But no DICE. haha! :(

So please bear with us. We feel the pain as well.

So why not from time to time just jump onto TS and ask us if everything is ok...420Dank, Greell and Paul30 are online almost everynight like GReell said...(although I wasen't online last night)

We could tell you in 10 sec. if everything was good or if the TK'ing was running out of control.

I do belive that you are having problems with the number of admins (why would you need to pull my leg) thats why I'm trying to suggest other options..

Admins are typically on during prime time hours. Beyond that, we do work and sleep. So there will be hours where there are no admins on. I do have a staff of admins here that's waiting to get admin rights, but we can't do it right now due to instability issues with the server and BF2CC.

I'll agree with the late night hours, I was on 1:30 am this morning, and I felt like I was playing with a bunch of 12 year olds, and I agree it sucks, the language was outrageous, but I know Crotch/WIHAdmin and those higher up are working hard at getting this fixed, I guess it is pretty much a waiting game for some stable controls... anyway, last I heard WIHAdmin is now bald from all the hair pulling :D

Ok let me start by saying that I understand that your having problems adding people becasue the tools stink...and I appreciate everything you guys are doing....

What I can't appriciate is the idea of "prime time" hours...By your definition prime time is the times when you have availability to be there...

Now I'm aware that you all have real jobs...so do I, I have 3 if you want to be technical. But for a server that is full 24/7 it seems to me that your "always" in a primetime period...

I'm only trying to brainstorm interim solutions to a problem...

Primetime is usually between 5P - 12A. This is the time frame when most of the WiH regulars are on playing as we have observed since the beginning of this community. So primetime is subjective and is my definition of it.

But I'm not here to argue about "prime time". The issue here is that you're asking for more admins. And you shall have them. We're adding more admins... Who are they? They're anonymous for now as they learn and get up to speed.

But even with more admins, there are going to be times when there won't be any admins on. That's just a fact that we all have to live with. If you're looking for admin to be on 24/7, I'm sorry but that's not going to happen here. We try our best and that's all we can do.

im trying to help but when people dont listen
then my hands r tied

i play from 12.00 am till 6.00 am or a lil later central
bf2 and css

then i sleep lol
at theses times its hard to find a admin

just remember guys WIH can only to so much

IMO kids should be in school all year, no breaks, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, from 7am to 6pm till they are 21.

It is Dinky, but your comment can spawn off replies on the pros/cons of kids being in school extra X months per year, etc...

I'm being more strict about hijacking threads more often now since I get PM's complaining about how members are reading a thread about topic X and then have to read thru a bunch of off-topic posts to get to the next post replying about topic X. And no, they didn't complain about you specifically Dinky, just general complains about hijacked threads.

sometimes it gets out of hand, but other times its great. sucks late night, because most of the kids are on, but you're right school is starting soon, so lets hope they disappear for a while (the bad ones at least, the cool ones can stay! )

anyhow, just logged off, time to get some sleep :O...for a few hours!

you wanna catch the tkers.... goto the blackhawk heli pad and camp out there.... trust me you'll find all of them there. Ive been tked countless times trying to get a blackhawk. Im not gonna rat out any names....yet :dunno:

rgr i noticed people place the handle and a number, when trying to point out the peeps ? I'm not sure how to get that number from a player on BF2? or all i need to give ya is their name in bf2?

It's funny that I read this thread, because earlier today I ran across that same HLS turbo character.

I noticed his score was ugly and usually shown for tk's, so I tried to keep my distance. Anyway, I've seen his handywork as well.
