Just a heads up, I was playing and kept getting disconnected from the beta today, did some research and so are a lot of other people. They are currently working on resolving the issue they said in their forums

My install went fine. Played a couple of rounds. No problems with game play.

The maps seem small but a lot of paths to objectives similar to CoD:WW. One map, Shahikot Mountains, is in the high mountains. I didnt play it much. The other map, Kunar Base, is a US base. There's a nice mini map that gives you directions. Something BC2 seriously lacks. Not sure if a map like Kunar Base will offer much in the way of tactics or team play since it is such a short distance between objectives. Time will tell.

Very little recoil on the weapons. Hit boxes seem good too.

The eye candy is pretty good. You'll be able to customize your weapons including diff types of barrels.

I played it and it was good.
The BF feel with COD4 map size.

Map size balance is always an issue.
Very fast paced game.
Spawn run up to the battle, kill some peeps, die,
repeat.

They did power down the RPG but not the snipers.
You can rip it up with the SVD just like BF2.

It seems to be on the BFBC2 engine and I am still running a 9800GT so
it feel my player is dragging an extra pack around.
(Q9550 OCed to 3.4, 4 gig Ram, Windows 7)

I may buy it but may wait to see the map selection.
Maybe this info is already out there.

Spanky and Shinobe have been playing. They like it. Say it's better then what the Beta revealed.

I picked it up. It's pretty decent so far though I haven't had much time to actually play. It feels like a slightly faster BC2. The major difference I see so far is that people seem to actually die when I shoot them.

We should setup a WiH night to break in the new server sometime soon.

We should setup a WiH night to break in the new server sometime soon.Interesting. Spanky & Shinobi said it was faster then bc2 too. And i noticed the beta had better hit detection then bc2 or less recoil or both.

I agree with the WiH night. How about Sunday or first of next week sometime?

Its a lot better for me than BC2. It actually reminds me a bit of that afghan game that was based on counterstrike. I can't remember that name at the moment.

I've yet to check this out cause I haven't had access to my gaming PC for almost 2 months. Sounds like this game is pretty kick ass..?
