WIH tournanment

It is almost time to start thinking about another tournament. EGG has sat on there crown for months now getting fat and lazy. Playing Counterstrike yesterday ( i got my ass kicked ROYALLY by everyone including kids that read "Tiger Beat", almost kicked by Monos for borderline recruiting, KICKED by Redy for swearing--------i deserved it all :P) Anyhow----------all that adds up to HOW everything has changed in CS in mere months. TC has recruited some top talent. TI practices every week and has gotten really really good. PNP has also recruited and practiced alot. EGG and LIT are ghosts in the wind eating Krispy Kremes and flying helicopters and driving tanks. The only time were on foot is to repair our vehicles. =HR= guys have rallied from 4 mere mortals to actually might be able to field a team on there home server. Itr is almost time for a new tournament, so I am slapping the faces of my 300 online firends with a white glove.

i'm all for it, however, since a couple of key PNP members shall be joining TI for the upcoming CAL season, i vote we hold off until that is finished. also, our beloved leader's return won't happen for at least another month. we can, however, start planning it :jester:

I tried warning folks on the server last night about CAL. LIT and our sister clan SSP , we both worked our asses off only to be let down hardcore by CAL. There are so many hackers and there isnt much you can do about it. I think the best fun we had was just practicing against each other. We had some great matches against SSP and formed longtime gaming friendships with all of them, so on that point it was worth the CAL experience.

However, the best, cheat free league style play Ive played was the War is Hell tournament, and thats a testament to the people here which is why we should plan for it and do it again soon. Hell, we may even get some BF2 new blood in here. Our gaming community is recognized as the best, and the War is Hell Counterstrike tournament is a pinnacle acheivement in what gaming will be in the future. That tournament took a lot of work by the owners, Admins, referees, and players. That it all could mesh together like it did was a testament to the dedication of the community. There isnt a whole lot of gaming communities out there that could do something like this and make it run so well even though the first time was a learning experience.

There is no doubt that the second time will be smoother. Let's think about re-invigorating the CS community.

i whole-heartedly agree. as for CAL, PNP has made the concious decision at this point to not participate in tournaments such as that. we're fine with the wih tourney, but don't have the time nor the patience for CAL. a couple of our guys wanted to get the experience, so we said "why the hell not" you know? 'sides, TI is a good bunch of guys, tho i don't think they'll get very far, if everything about your experiences holds true.

:thumbsup: I agree as well, though some of my egg buddies are MIA( I haven't seen eric draven or mac in a while) I think another tournament would be great but I'm not a big fan of CS at the moment.

So what, RG lost by forfit in the last WIH tounament. Alot of cal matches are won by forfit. I just wish we could have played cus then we would be in 1st right now.

So what, RG lost by forfit in the last WIH tounament. Alot of cal matches are won by forfit. I just wish we could have played cus then we would be in 1st right now.

If i recall in CAL league you can only have 1 win by forfeit in order to make it to the playoffs. It was at this point that DHR and SSP just gave up on trying to finish the league. Also, the tryouts and team forming I did was kind of rudimentary at best.
