Today when I was sitting in the pool I started to read a new book. It is called Tigers in the Mud. Its written by the most succesful german tank commander in WW2. I figured Ive spent so much time in a tank that I cant be the only hero out there. This guy destroyed something like 150 enemy tanks over the course of the war.

Anyway, heres how this thread relates to us. Im on page 33 and something dawned on me. I had to page back, verify, and then laugh. By page 33 there is something like 6 guys who have either run in front of tanks, had treads backed up over them, or just plain been run over.

So see! Idiots have been throwing themselves in front of friendly tanks for more then 60 years in real life. No more threads about teamkilling with vehicles. Idiots really DO that in real life. That just makes BF2 all the more realistic.

In real life its social Darwinism, making the Army that much smarter after they walk in front of a a tank... but in BF2, unfortunatly they can respawn.
