When I join war is hell it says "you may be kicked to make room for a community member". How would I go about becoming a community member so I can get a reserve slot? Is it a pay per month type deal?

Right. If you participate in our forums, you are considered a member. Just go ahead and post in the "meet and greet" forum as Zilong suggested.

To get on the server when it's full, you'll need to get on Teamspeak.
