Having some video conversion problems. Divx worked fine before but now it's saying the Fraps files are in an unsupported format. Ugh.. I'm not keen on trying to upload a 600+meg file to youtube.

I forgot to mention this before. Jimmy had a successful carrier take off on Saturday night! :woot: Dunno if he had a bomb load but he did get into the sky. No one that night had a carrier landing.. Although I dont think anyone even had an attempted carrier landing. :dunno:

It was really last minute. Murdock suggested flying, I got a greenlight to go, and we wrangled Kegg into it. Jimmy popped into the TS channel out of no where while we were still getting setup.

Had some good flights and I hope to be in the skies again soon. :thumbsup:

I am away till Monday night, but after that I am in! I have my step dad and brother hooked up and ready to go as well! Our squadron is growing :)

3 nights in a row of flying! Had some fun tearing it up carrier style with Murdock pulling off the lone carrier landing. Did some B25 action as well, but I couldnt seem to take off in one.

@ Drayu - I hope they are in the air soon. Look forward to flying with them. :thumbsup:

Been having a lot of great flights the last few nights. The elusive goal though all of it was the fabled carrier landing. The F4U is just too much of a beast while flying slowly. It's been making things difficult.

We did manage to squeak out a few tonight though. The extra bonus is that we did it in a thunderstorm. Just getting off the deck was hard enough. The carrier was heaving all over. It was rolling so much it sent several of us into the tower. The AI was pooching takeoffs just as often as the human pilots. Ugh.. Murdock and I did manage to get at least one each. I give props to Drayu for his brave effort. I know you'll get one next time.

While most of the recent stuff has been carrier opps, I hope we can get more people in the future. Always happy to fly what the majority of people want. Personally, I've been itching for flying some actual IL-2s. They are some bad ass flying tanks. The later models have guns strong enough to beat up armor proper.
