mmm i cant wait for mai-hime to come out in a dvd box set. (waits 1.5 years)

as far as the windows 3.x desktop, i still have a computer running windows 3.0! it has Wolfenstein 3D, Sokoban, Castle, Commander Keen, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Scorched Earth, and some other random stuff. its built like a laptop but needs an external monitor for color. maybe i'll take a picture of it someday

I'm another firm believer in a clutter free dektop.I just keep everything i need under quicklaunch.Does anyone know a way to remove the recylce bin from it?I have it turned off so it bugs me to have look at it all the time.
And incase your wondering why I dont have any wallpaper,someone once told me that it uses up ram and can therefore cause lag during games.I have no idea if thats true or not but I've had it that way for so long now i find it distracting to have wallpaper.The last picture i had on it was the wierd blue thing apoc uses as his avatar.

Fans of the Fallout series will know what my first background is. The second, on my backup PC, (underneath all my Konfabulator widgets) is of an Me-262, one of my favorite WWII-era aircraft. Yay.

I had an old laptop that could run all those games... everything else ran stuff like Castle way too fast. Space Wars was addictive, and Wolf 3D was damned hard on the highest difficulty... fighting Hitler = awesome. The Commander Keen series was similarly awesome (dopefish!) All those MicroProse titles... StarControl.. those were the good 'ol days.

it is tru...run 3dmark with a very intese background image up...then put it black or white, you will see an improvement...

and soreal's blue bar is due to MOST likely windows blinds or something of the sort

Haha...funny story about Buddy....after the show, I was hanging out in the back where the buses were...and I was talking to Adam from Home Grown...and I mentioned that I was hungary. He said he was to, I asked him if he wanted me to take him to McDonalds...so he went in the bus to get his wallet. On the way out he ran into Buddy and asked him if he wanted to come along. Ok, McDonalds was no futher than 3 blocks from this club...we got lost and it took us about an hour before we found it. Anyways...skip ahead....two weeks later I was cleaning out my car and down in the little crack between the seat and the door was a little plastic card...Adam's lisence. Lol...pretty funny I thought.
