The BF2 server have been stable ever since we removed the BF2CC admin scripts from it. However, there is still a memory leak in v1.02. This leak is manifesting itself after about 10+ hours of uptime. For example, in the past several days, we noticed that the server becomes sluggish around 10PM CDT. This is 13 hours since the server rebooted at 9AM CDT. The result is lots of lag and finally a crash. A crashed server doesn't completely relinquish system resources. So often then not, it'll crash again around 3AM CDT.
What we're going to try to do is add in a manual reboot of the server around 9PM CDT. This should allow it to run without lag or crash until the next reboot at 9AM CDT. We will be doing this starting tonite. So please be aware that this is happening.
Thanks!

Excellent! That does seem to be around the time it gets sluggish.

I tried the rebooting at 9P CDT last nite. I didn't like doing it manually. So I had our provider change the daily scheduled 9A CDT server reboot to be at 5P CDT. This is effective today. The 5PM time frame was chosen by me for 2 reason:
1. Close to the beginning of prime playing time. At 5P CDT, if the server goes down, it gets repopulated within a minute or 2. Contrast that with going down at 9A CDT, it takes a good 20 minutes to get the server back to full.
2. Rebooting at 5P CDT will guarantee that during our prime playing time, the server will not experience lag from the 1.02 memory leak.

The server wasn't behaving itself last night very well. It crashed shortly after I started playing around 7:30pm EST, and was very laggy thereafter until I restarted it around 8:30pm EST.
