We all know and hate the current autobalance system. Well, hope is near as ModManager is currently being tested on various servers. ModManager is an add-on to BF2 to allow for easier module installations. The ModManager is going to be distributed as part of BF2CC. BF2CC is approved by EA, implying that ModManager is approved by EA as well. One of the modules that is default with ModManager fixes how autobalance works. With it, server operators can choose to stop the commanders, squad leaders, and squad members from being autobalanced to the other team.

I personally can't wait until ModManager is deployed to all BF2 servers!

I'll second that, I HATE nothing more than beign in a squad and kicking arse, then ending up on the receiving end :thumbsdown:

It sounds good, I really hope they do put in a check though to make sure there are 2+ people in a squad before removing that person from the Switch - Auto Balance List. Otherwise its just going to be a bunch of 1-Person Squads.
