They only test in high settings and to quote them.

"If you are looking for a true eye candy experience, be prepared to spend a significant amount of money on your next upgrade. Maximum quality settings require you to have a brand new ATI Radeon HD 5970 installed in your PC. Nothing less will suffice."

It your system is quite old you are probably do for an upgrade but the game only needs to be playable to have fun.

A pair of 5850's will perform pretty damn close to a 5970. And with in six weeks I'm thinking two 5850's will be cheaper than a single 5970. Not to forget easier to find.

My main point was that if you have a card that is 9800gt or above spending a couple hundred more is not going to give you much more then a prettier picture.

Yeah, that is precisely why I have not upgraded anything in a while. The only thing that is tempting is to get an SSD.

what's the console command to display fps?If you're talking about in-game console, there's no way to pull one up.

If a way is provided later you can try this command: renderer.drawFps [0,1]
