Hardcore server

So, I played on a hardcore server, and it pretty much eliminated my frustrations with the way guns work in this game. I'd love to see one of the rush servers converted into hardcore. :D Just a thought!

Hardcore is like COD, there is no spotting, no mini map, no crosshairs. It takes a game that already is really realistic and pushes it over the top. I love it!

I haven't talked with the other guys, but it I am pretty sure the two current Rush servers will stay they way they are. Now, converting another or adding one isn't out of the realm of possibilities.

I have been playing some hardcore also.
When you play hardcore you really see that BC2 is EAs answer to
MW2, but better with squads and larger maps.

You have to be more cautious in hardcore with no HUD or crosshairs.
My motion mines don't work.

I am not sure if it is just my preference for the conquest mode,
but I don't think hardcore would not be as enjoyable on Rush mode because of the direct path set by the game.

I agree, JustMe, hardcore is a lot more fun on conquest. Conquest is a lot more open and...tactical, I think.

Aw I like the plain conquest server. I admit I've only played the hardcore mode for like an hour or so, but 1-shot sniper kills everywhere bother the hell outta me.

Yeah the snipers would be the thing that would bother me most on hardcore, no doubt.

I haven't played hardcore, but maybe i should considering how much I bitch about emptying clips into people close range without them dying.

I played the hardcore last night, it helps to have someone spotting (telling you where they are), to take down the snipers with your squad sniper. Maybe they will get the in game voip working and it will all come together finally.Was enjoyable.

I tried it in the beta and it was fun, but def. made snipers very powerful and thus exponentially more irritating >:-O

I'm with the crowd saying Hardcore would potentially be neat on Conquest.

Still dreaming of a HardCore Conquest server.

Had one I was playing in regularly but the admins started being dicks and stacking the teams!

Wish list:

EA fix the friends list and autobalance, the rest is playable as it is now.

If I wanted to go about 'donating' a server for WiH to use (so we could have 4 servers, 2 hardcore, one of each mode, and two regular), how would I go about doing so? I'd also love to see one closer to the left coast for all of us that are closer to LA than Dallas/Chicago. :D Just curious, hope I'm not stepping on any toes.

I find myself liking HC mode more and more. It feels more balanced, or at least it gives chumps with few unlocks (like myself) a fighting chance. I can actually kill the people I shoot at, instead of me sitting there firing for 5 seconds only to have them whip around and drop with me with two shots from an M60 with magnum ammo. :/
