Windows 7 install help

So my brother just got the rest of his parts for his computer, we built it today and started to install windows 7 on it. We get to a point during the install process where we get the error 0x80070017 and says missing or corrupt file. I've tried looking for a solution but no avail. Any help you guys can give would be hugely appreciated. This is his system

remove two gigs of memory so you have only 2 gigs in there. then install.


You will more than likely have to go into your bios and enable a settings called "memory remap" or similar.

But it should install on 2 gigs.

that or your memory is possbily bad :(

So funny thing happened while I was typing the above plea, the damn thing decided to work (must have tried it 5 or 6 times). Nothing was done different except that I wasn't by the computer and my brother was, the windows gods must hate me right now. Thank you Drayu for taking the time to respond.
