Vista Home Prem 32 bit.
No windows system sounds and
no sound on just some websites, youtube, msn, hulu
but does have sound on other websites and playing any
music or video files on the local hard drive.
It had a virtual sound device in device manage which I uninstalled.
I uninstalled and installed newer onboard realtech sound driver.
The only malware found on the machine was gamevance.
Uninstalled VLC and reinstalled it telling it to be default player for
music and video, no change.
Installed Firefox and Chrome and saw no change.
Anyone have any ideas before I format?
