Will you please cut down on the chatting in the BF2 teamspeak channel durring the game. Trash talk is cool, I mean isn't that what it's there for? also for some reason lastnight TS was louder than the game and with all the chatting it was hard to hear what was going on in the game. It was so bad lastnight that I had to turn TS off during the game and then log back in while the map was loading.

Another suggestion is not to give team commands over TS. Like lets go for the center base. because the other team can hear what your plans are and be ready for you. there are channels for that.

That's a valid request. We have in the past enforce this rule that if you want to banter about non-game related stuff, go into an empty channel. Game channels are for game information. Talk during map loads, but only convey game info during games.

some people dont realize this and as they talk to there squad they talk to all :D but hey, let em, do remember there are sub channels, and I know drayu posted a way to easily change between channels while in game, to tell you the truth in game I sit in the appropiate channel, not in game I tend to sit to listen in the main channel and listen to all that is going on... good source of entertainment

You can probably accuse me of doing that (though I was not on last night), sometimes i've accidently pressed teamspeak instead of my squad. It gets confusing in the heat of battle, im going to have to work on that though so I dont sound like an idiot speaking to no one in teamspeak.

Being on TS is an asset to the gameplay in my opinion. However, there are times when the channels get a bit noisy. That's why sometimes you'll find me sitting in a subchannel. If things get chatty when I'm there, I'll say something.

And that's ok if you're using the VOIP. We're talking about people chatting about dinners and movies and shit on Teamspeak while others are trying to play.

it happened again lastnight in the MEC channel. I even asked ppl to stop and was made fun of by them fake wispering. It's really fustrating when I can't hear my squad.

Next time, ALT TAB out and get me the offenders names. I'll put a stop to their TS usage immediately.

instead of always shutting down TS Needle, just set it up so that you can mute all sounds when you want to or switch channels by binding keys.

That just sounds painful... or use a laptop like a do with two headsets :D
