View Full Version : Jeff are you O.K?
One minute he was telling us he was going to kill his whole squad if we didn't get back a position and then he was gone.
Jeff we luv ya, but you gotta stay away from rum and cokes.

No Im not crazy. Its a mixture of things.
--I have been switched from night shift to day shift six times in six weeks. Im back on days for the rest of this contract. My new schedule is Tue,Wed, Thu, and half of Friday.
--I havnt been laid in a while. Empty Viagra prescription.
--I dont YELL at you on teamspeak. ...............I do give orders though. It was an invatation only squad. I only invited teamspeakers long time friends and 1 newbie----so that squad was Redy, Me, Atomic Bob, and the new teamspeak guy spillz. Sorry to scare you spillz. Any squad that gives orders is LOADS better ( as Harry Potter would say) then a normal squad.
P>S> that map I said I was going to kill you on if we didnt complete the objective I think the score was REALLY REALLY close and I believe we lost it. The map before was really really close too and we won it. I of course said that all in good spirits but this ties into that other thread where people were talking about defending flags. It is now my personal view in BF2 that 1 squad should be able to capture and hold 2 adjecent flags the whole map. We only had 4 people though. :( I may have been stretching.
-- Redy...........................I was drunk as shit last night and I dont even remember what time I disseapeared. Last map I remember was Gulf of Oman. Im on this Adkins diet and the meat just not suck up the rum and diet cokes. Although its swell Ive lost 12 pounds, I think Im going to stick to Michelob Ultra to retain my sanity.
Cheers

Jeff, I hate to break this to you, but yeah, you yell. You curse. You complain. It was so bad last week I swore I would never be in a squad with you as squad leader again, not because I don't enjoy playing with you but because I don't want to listen to you rant to go along with the orders. Sorry man. Throttle down, take up some exercise or something to burn some of that energy off.

Jeff's got a couple of good points.
1 good squad can cap and defend 2 nearby flags. And a good squad always has a leader that gives orders and members who'll follow those orders.
If you guys have been in my squads, you know I'm constantly giving orders and information to my squad. I tell them what kits I need, where to go and what to do. You guys rock! But every squad leader has a different style. Some just like to act as a spawn point, some likes to defend, some likes to assault, some say a lot, some say nothing at all.
Jeff - I'll send an invite for you into my squad next time, but I gotta have my members sober. :)

I WILL tone down my attitude to BF2. I didnt realize Id become the Salem Saberhagen of BF2. Alot of that had 6 weeks of bullshit gameplay build up that was released last week. As far as yelling and stuff, I am very enthusiastic about giving orders and having them followed thorough. That is ten years of my military real life. Oops.
I should never ever ever ever ever EVER be squad leader. I dont like being a squad leader, I never have. The only reason I do it is to form a squad of regulars (online friends). I never get invited to squads so I ALWAYS form them. Even my horrible attitude lately shouldnt supress the fact Im sitting on 50 gold and silver medals. You have the weigh the mans attitude next to what he can accomplish. IM A COMBAT INSANE KILLER.
I will really really really try to tone down and keep my cool now that my online buddies have pointed this fact out to me. Jesus, I feel like the Hulk.
--notes-- Persepone , you should buy BF2, as much as I bitch, your missing out. If you want me to yell at you in real life Ill send you a round trip plane ticket and I can whip you, throw candlewax on you, whatever crazy shit you want. :jerkit:
--My brother Marcus'fo'realius should buy it too. He kicked my ass, STONE sober the other night in Counterstrike and Im not ready to work my ass off to get good at that game again yet. Unless there is another War Is Hell tournament, Im not practicing.
--Day of Defeat is just around the corner. You better pray there isnt a squad type setup. You want to see Jeff enthusiastic??? Throw a World war 2 game in front of his face. My whole point of existence was to participate in that war and kick the shit out of the Nazis. I was born 35 years to late. I have devoted my entire personal life to KNOWING everything about that war. Ever heard of the Washoski brothers? Ryan and I are working on something that someday you all will watch (on your HDTV) and say, " damn, i know those guys." and you can even come swim in our super size pool. ( because we knew you back when) Thats how devoted we are to that war. There is no other outcome BUT success. who wants to be my "Turtle"? ( this isnt drunk rambling, im hung over, but I know what Im typing here-------------unlike the other thread where I apparently want to sleep in Monos's house)

No worries Jeff. I get the same way now and then. I am lucky my daughter is there to keep me under control. She even made a list of rules and posted them in ront of my computer. Here is my 11 year olds list of rules for CS and any game:
1. Go slow even when you are buying equipment.
2. Don't always lead the way.
3. Take the time to help team mates.
4. Don't get mad, get even.
5. It's just a game.
She wrote these for me after I was pounding my desk in frustration one day playing CS. She hung them right up in front of me where I can see them while you play and guess what, it works. I have chilled out considerably since then. I used to get so mad I would have to quit playing, now I just turn my head, read the rules, chuckle and go kill the S.O.B. that ticked me off. Try it, we want the old Jeff back :)

haha, sounds like your daughter has already mastered a lot behind SAFE shooting. :D
And as for you jeff, I always see you pwning in BF2. But I can understand your frustration nonetheless. There's a stage where you're a competent well-rounded asset to your team, and tempers will flare when you find yourself surrounded by incompetence.
In game like cs:s, you can make up for it, but in BF2 it's a little harder. So yeah... :X Rock on bro

And as for you jeff, I always see you pwning in BF2.
My scores are generally attributed to the amount of practice Ive had in the game. All i care about these days is taking and holding objectives. If you do that, the fight generally comes to you. If you take a look at the scroreboard when Im playing, I may not have the top score, or even get a medal for that matter, but more then half the time #1 in "combat" will be -LiT-Jeff-from-HR. I have a knack for always being engaged. That doesnt mean Im not a team player or work well in a squad,m it just means Im not flying around in a helicopter all day. ( wow, that was low of me)
This thread was about Dave's well being. I never said you were yelling, but maybe you were, but I don't care.
Dave I'm glad your alive.
