I hate people that dont play as a team and also 8 squads with only 2 members in each squad. :wallbash:
everyone should be in a sqaud and only commander should have the power to join small squads together.

Forcing people into squads together would be like a bad marriage gone ever MORE bad :)

When the demo first came out, the commander was actually a great position to have b/c people were actually using tactics. Now that the game is out, it has reverted to good ole merry go round flag capturing old school bf.

*shrug* join a clan if you want good teamwork... you won't find much of it on regular servers...particularily ranked servers

Most are to busy being Chopper Whores to get points very few squad up for any other reason. If my team is on I squad up, if not I lone wolf it.

I think the sense of teamwork came from having fewer flags to attack/defend, we could all focus on one point at a time. It made for much better gameplay in my opinion, too bad EA doesn't think so.

There are a few clans that have made WiH their home.

Thats an easy solution. Knock all the maps back to size 32, but allow 64 players on them.

This is discussed several times before. the ticketratio is locked at 100%. This will cause the map to end in 10 minutes. No time for any kind of squad action there.
I have written to Ben Smith on this issue. I presented the possibility of either allowing a valid range for ticketratio or that they just increase the # of tickets at 100%. He said they will re-evaluate this for v1.03.

I really hope they do increase the ticket amount at %100 or allow some manipulation of the percentage. I don't want more then 1 map play before a change as thats one of the things that kept me comming back to the WiH server. However, some maps are over before any organization gets underway it seems.

More tickets would be better, that way ppl can actually get some of the time heavy badges this game requires to attain.

If you have a hard working commander, one that attempts to play the chess game aspect with his hard working squads (spell that cooperative) the game is fine. When I command, I give commands to my two man squads, just as I would to my larger squads. I may request two or three small ones to move on a position at the same time, while asking a 6 man to defend one particular bridge. Sometimes they say roger that, sometimes they say, no can do. That's what's supposd to focus their attention on one place at a time.
Crappy commander with squads that don't strive to work for him = <crappy game play.
Good squads + crappy commander or good commander + crappy unresponsive squads =- <crappy game play.
But a good commander + good squad play = world domination
I have little interest in 32 player maps. In fact, I wish there were 5000 player maps. Something continent wide with nearly unlimited players. I lay awake at night thinking of that day.
Chopper whores will find ther demise, just as armor whores have. Good squads will find an effective defense given time. Maps my treads used to run rampant over with 70-100 kills, now find me scoring in the 50's and even lower. Teamwork is the key, and it will overcome even the lame chopper whoring. If nothing else, they will eventually tire of the practice and actually play the game.

Oh, that must burn the chopper guys ass. :jester:

That would be perfect if we could increase the amount of tickets. Lets hope they do add that for the next patch.

I must say that although the majority of my time has been spent lone wolfing because I can't find a group (or my regulars aren't on), I have found a group of regulars to the server who work great together... be it in a Helo or on the ground; taking out Arties/Radar or clearing the streets.

Get on TS. Usually someone on TS will make room in their squad for a WiH member.
