For those that haven't played the demo/beta give this a watch. For those that have we get to see one of the other maps... Valparaiso (not Indiana :))

Producer, Anders Gyllenberg has put together a walkthrough of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the PC and explains some of the PC specific features, including things you have been asking for on the forums, as well as a first look at the Rush map, Valparaiso.

PS...notice he says "you can set the FOV to whatever you like although there is a limit"

Auto patching! Huzzah! Not quite as important for me with the use of steam, but still better.

Good post.

What was he saying about weapon handling for twitch players?

I think he said it will respond better for twitch, that they increased the sensitivity over the console.

Rep! This was great just for the map look, but I'm excited about some of the stuff they've got going on. I'll give HPAO and Fraps a try and post my results.

I really like the way the game looks. I really do hope to get a brand new computer built this Summer so unfortunately I will have to wait before I can start playing with you guys. But rest assured BF2 is the game that got me to this community years ago. I will frag the crap outta you guys again! :)

So I basically tuned this game out since I was never really a fan of the battlefield series, does this play more like battlefield or cs? it seems like it might be faster than the old battlefield games. if so I might have to come kick some ass after shaking off the rust.

more like CS or Call of Duty. Definitely not a traditional battlefield game.

That is exactly why I have not gotten into the series:/ But then again, I am not really into new games anyway, CSS and Q3/QL all the way!

For me this game is like CS outdoors only a hair slower, the learning curve for non-bf players seems a little steep but then again I only played for 1 map and was just sniping to try and figure out how to play and how the aiming worked.
