I'm just pissed as hell over all these games. I will NEVER buy a 360, ever. Worst thing to happen to inventive PC games.....

Yep. After all this time actually showcasing it on PC and optimizing it for quad core CPUs, they pull the plug on the PC version.
It's not Remedy you should be saying fuck you to, though, it's Microsoft.

Damn that was a game that actually really intrigued me with all the stuff about it. Sucks balls.

they probably pulled because it's much easier and faster to only code something for a specific hardware spec.
and i remember this being announced ages ago(and pushed back a couple times at least)

Must be played in front of a large TV experience is complete BULLSHIT!
What about playing it in front of a 25" monitor that is less than 3 ft away from your head and you have surround sound speakers or headphones? What makes my PC experience less than your fucking Console TV experience?
Another reason to fucking hate the way this industry works and thinks.

I'm cant help but wonder if the current state of the economy is driving these decisions. The publishers wouldnt admit bc it could negatively effect the stock so they make up an excuse. That is def a lame ass excuse and I never heard of this game before.

It's stuff like this that makes me kind of glad that I've gotten away from gaming. My motorcycles seem to love me more than the gaming industry :)
IMO gaming (not just PC gaming) is slowly killing itself through it's own popularity.
....I think I may be becoming a bitter old man at 25 :(

Naw it's true, Gumby... gaming is not the same as it was.
Still, there are some diamonds in the rough, one namely being Bad Company 2.
Also look for Mafia 2, Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033, which will be released soon.
There are others, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Being exposed to some great games make us (including me) overly critical,
letting some games fall thru the cracks.

Reasons why I sold my 360. Its Microsoft at its best cornering the market. Lame excess as always.

how is MS cornering the market ? they own the developer and are a producer, Sony has done the same thing for decades, make it exclusive so that people buy the hardware, Final Fantasy would be a good example.
hell Nintendo has done it since the 80's, when have you EVER seen a Mario title sold on the Pc ?

The good people that design emulators to give back to the pc people.:D I understand its been going on for years but not everyone likes to play a console.

Really, this is just a better business strategy, releasing it exclusively for 360.
I'm sure there will be a PC port, and once there is, those who own both a 360 and a beefy PC will also want to play it on PC.
Batta bing - 2 sales from one person (if they don't pirate it)
Strictly business. I don't really blame them, or Remedy especially, since they are a small developer and need the money from MS.
