Yeah another unlock ?

My apoligies if this question is posted elsewhere but I've looked & didn't see it. I'm about a 100 away from 1st unlock, what I would like to know is do you have access to both default weapon & unlock during gameplay? Of course if EA had provided a manual instead the flyer included w/game this post wouldn't be needed.

Yes you do. after you unlock your weapon, in the box that you select your kit, you'll see a up/down arrow button. Press that to swtich between your regular and unlock.

Thanks but just to clarify you can play w/default or unlock but not both?

Right. You choose when you select your class before you spawn. once selected you're stuck with that kit until the next time you die.

Not true!!!

A friend pointed out that if you go up to dead people's little bags on the ground and hit G you can switch to their kit.

Really handy to switch to a Medic kit / Spec Ops Kit at times ;)

Try it, it's pretty cool.

That's true. I thought Krowbar meant selectable as in his own selectable.

What's really useful to do is if a medic dies, then usually I'll try to get their kit, revive them, and either stay as medic or switch back to my kit :P

I rolled over 10.5k last night. grats me. Anyhow, I unlocked the PKM first wepon but i rarely use it. So this unlock is crucial. I generally play engineer and assault. Im leaning to the jackhammer because there is just no way in hell Im giving up my gernade launcher. Thoughts?

Yeah. Don't take the G3. I have it and I usually don't use it bc I want my noob-launcher.
