Servers list

Since the Friends list isn't really working 100% of the time, I thought maybe if we list some of the servers that are our favorites, we can add each others' servers into our fav list and maybe it'll be easier to hook up on the same server.

Look in your GameSettings.ini file for the server names. On XP, this file is located in "My Documents\BFBC2Beta\GameSettings.ini"

Mine are:

Hypernia Bad Company 2 Beta Dallas 2
EA - Chicago ? PUBLIC - ArtOfWarCentral.com ? 4


I don't know if adding just the server name into this GameSettings.ini file will actually add it to the server list in-game or not.

I take it the friends list doesn't work? I can add people but it always says no one's online.

also shouldn't be a problem , because the server history works!!

Once peopel start to post their servers, I'll keep a master list here so that everyone can just cut and paste into their gamesettings.ini

We dont know for sure yet but we always try to locate our servers in the Midwest. Chicago or Dallas.

Dallas pretty please. I get like a 50 ping to dallas and over 100 to some chicago servers.

As I explained my beliefs before and you may have seen in the test server you tried with gameservers.com for cod that Chicago is the best central server.
