just to let everyone know there are newer Nvidia drivers out 196.21 which adds better support for the BC2 Beta. If you aren't updated to those, you should.

Yep I did that yesterday but
I ran video card stability test from freestone-group.com and
fps log from evga precision before and after and didn't get any improvement.
I wasn't lucky enough to get a boost but lots of other people did per the net.

Justme, did you go with the beta drivers? And what did you use to benchmark? Links?

I am not saying that people should stay with old drivers and most will see an improvement. I was just unlucky enough to not see improvement. I updated to 196.21 from somewhere around 186 didn't look, I knew they were old.

Get down and give me twenty !!
LOL I actually saw a small decease on the video stability's benchmark,
but that is an old program.
My buddy that is running an E5300 on a G31 with a 9600GT saw a big jump in
performance with the new driver.

I've gotten a boost. Rarely dipped below 20FPS and I even saw it going at 30! :D Didnt try out the Beta drivers though just 196.21. Going to see what the Beta drivers do since a bug in .21 keeps me from OCing the GPU.

Nvidia Control Panel. Dont think I'm going to bother shooting for the moon though. Didnt really see any FPS change when I set the GPU to 740mhz. :( Beta drivers worked as well as .21

I'll have to try this now that I updated (for STO)...I was really unimpressed by my PCs performance in BC2...

evga precision 1.9?? works with all nvidia cards and
gives you the option of showing in game/on screen FPS, core speed extra.

That looks like a very nice program. I've been looking for something that will show me the GPU temp on my G15 keyboard. :D
