I'm sure most of you are aware by now that the Friends List is a wee bit dodgy at the moment. If invites don't work right away, logging in and out seems to have worked for some. If it still doesn't work, we're still friends no matter what BC2 says! <3

Please note that, if you entered your clan tag in the "Clan Tag:" field, it does not register as part of your handle for the purpose of your friends list. Only list your clan tag if you included it in the "User Name:" field.

Also, be sure to get what names you want now as they'll be rolled over into release!

**update (3-5-10)** It seems with the release build the friends list is back to it's old self. Just keep sending requests until it goes through. Sometimes it seems to work first try, but others I still haven't gotten :(

Ive got a quick question. I havnt started playing yet, but I was wondering... are BC2 beta user names reserved for the actual game? Because I was planning to take a username Im pretty sure would be taken by now if they are.

Steam will still give you a beta key, so no worries.

SoupyC, its like the BF2, you put your name in, and then have a seperate field for your clan tag.

It is borked in the beta build. Fixed in the release build. Beta won't be updated to work (for now anyway) :(

Well now to eat my words. That last patch seems to have made the Friends list function correctly Can anyone verify this? After logging in my friends list was functioning and I had several friends request awaiting my attention.

Now if only this last patch hadn't rendered this game unplayable for me :(

My friends list has been working. I think a few requests were lost in the shuffle. However, it was showing who was online and what server they were in.

I finally installed it with my new rig and I realized I am totally out of practice. Also that helicopters in BC2 are not the same as BF2 sadly. Oh well getting back on the horse. Finished the single player campaign in one sitting just to get some practice on NPCs. Then into the Multiplayer which I'm eh on. Wish I had some of these unlocks already.

It becomes a lot more fun when you have most the weapons/accessories unlocked, as then you can customize your weapons to your playing style. Alternatively, you could play Vietnam. I think you start with everything there.

but on Conquest which is more like BF2 I get a good squad and rock the score board.
