i found out and figured out a new toy to play with.. the sbp planes... bomber aircraft that can carry other fighters or manned rockets and release during mission... The TB-3 was one such aircraft..

the (SPB) designation is on the aircraft name that will work with this.
how to do it:
the bomber stays put, the fighters taxi up under the wings and attach plane. attach/detach plane will need to be mapped so you can use it. i think its possible to attach inflight as well actually, but havent seen it. it took some pics of my attach to an ai plan, and flying, pretty cool. just make sure your power is maxed out before detaching. the detach is smooth with little or no drop.
i dl'd a coop map that is made for this..
